Return and Refund Policy
SDP Inc. is committed to your satisfaction. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may return eligible items within 30 days of receipt.
To begin a return, contact us at (888) 632-5731 to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number. Returns without an RA number will not be accepted.
Return Conditions
- Items must be in original manufacturer packaging
- Must include all pieces, components, and accessories
- Must be fully operational and in good working order
- Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable
Restocking Fees
- No restocking fee for items returned new, unused, and in original condition
- 30% restocking fee applies to items returned used or in damaged/non-reusable packaging
Final Sale — Non-Returnable Items
The following items are final sale and are not eligible for return or refund due to safety regulations, legal restrictions, or the inability to resell once opened:
- Stun guns and electroshock devices
- OTF (out-the-front) knives
- Pepper spray and defensive sprays
- TASER devices (once opened)
- Metal detectors
- Spy cameras, bug detectors, and GPS tracking devices
- Any item returned in used condition
Age Requirement
By purchasing from SDP Inc., you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older. This applies to all products, including pepper spray, stun guns, OTF knives, and TASER devices. SDP Inc. reserves the right to cancel any order where age verification cannot be confirmed.
Apparel Returns
Apparel items — including boots, hats, helmets, shoes, and shirts — must be new, unused, and unworn to qualify for a return.
TASER Device Returns
TASER devices must remain sealed in original manufacturer packaging. Once opened, a TASER is considered used, subject to a 30% restocking fee, and can only be resold as a used item.
Damaged Packages
If your package arrives damaged, contact us at (888) 632-5731 immediately. Keep all original packaging and provide photos of the damage within 5 days of receipt so we can file a carrier claim on your behalf.
Defective Items
If an item appears defective, contact us before returning it. We will determine whether the issue is a defect or a usage concern. Confirmed defective items will receive an RA number and a prompt replacement.
Refused Deliveries
If a shipment is refused by the customer, the customer is responsible for all return shipping fees, carrier charges, and handling costs resulting from the refusal.
Warranties
Warranty coverage varies by product and may range from 30 days to lifetime, depending on the manufacturer. Warranties cover defects in materials or workmanship under normal use.
Warranty coverage does not apply to failures resulting from:
- Accidents, misuse, or abuse
- Neglect or mishandling
- Improper application, alteration, or modification
- Unauthorized service or repair
Stun Gun Lifetime Warranty
Many stun guns sold by SDP Inc. are covered by a lifetime warranty. If your stun gun fails under normal use due to a manufacturing defect, we will arrange a replacement unit at no charge upon request.
To request a replacement:

- Provide your order number, name, and a description of the issue
- We will review your claim and issue a replacement authorization
The customer is responsible for return shipping of the defective unit. SDP Inc. covers shipping on the replacement unit sent back to you.
Lifetime Warranty — All Other Products (Registration Required)
All other products with a lifetime warranty must be registered within 30 days of receipt. To register, email the following to warranty@sdpincusa.com:
- Date
- Order #
- Full Name
- Full Address
- Description of Item
For lifetime warranty claims, contact us at (888) 632-5731 or by email. SDP Inc. will evaluate the issue and determine whether repair or replacement is appropriate. If the item must be returned to the manufacturer, the customer is responsible for inbound freight. Return shipping of the repaired/replacement unit is covered under the warranty.
